The church is dedicated to the three holy hegumens of the Vetluzh region: St. Macarius of Zheltovodsk and St. Barnabas of Vetluzh, designed by architect Viktor Koval. It is located in the center of Lapshanga village, Nizhny Novgorod region. It is made of laminated timber with a section of 290x190 mm in the style of a cage-type temple with a tent belfry. The base is a stone basement, where the adjacent church is now located. It was built next to the place where the St. Nicholas Church of 1814, which was lost in the 1960s, was previously located.
